Does aol use yahoo mail servers

A blast from the past!

AOL (America Online) and Yahoo! were both major players in the early days of the internet, and at one point, they had a close relationship. In fact, in 2005, Yahoo! acquired Oath (formerly AOL) from Time Warner for $4.3 billion.

As part of this acquisition, Yahoo! inherited AOL's email infrastructure, including its email servers. For a while, AOL's email service continued to use Yahoo!'s email servers to deliver and store emails.

However, in 2015, Verizon acquired AOL for $4.4 billion, and in 2017, Verizon merged AOL with its own digital media division to form Oath. As part of this merger, AOL's email service was eventually migrated away from Yahoo!'s email servers.

Today, AOL's email service is operated by Verizon Media (formerly Oath), and it uses its own email infrastructure, separate from Yahoo!'s. While both services are still available, they are no longer integrated at the server level.

So, to answer your question: no, AOL does not use Yahoo! mail servers anymore.
