Here's how to access and manage your email contacts list on an iPhone:
Accessing Your Email Contacts List:
- Open the Mail app on your iPhone.
- Tap on the "Contacts" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- You will see a list of all your contacts, including those you've added from your email accounts.
Managing Your Email Contacts List:
- To add a new contact, tap the "+" icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Enter the contact's name, email address, and other details as desired.
- Tap "Done" to save the new contact.
- To edit an existing contact, tap on the contact's name and make the desired changes.
- To delete a contact, swipe left on the contact's name and tap "Delete".
- To merge duplicate contacts, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Contacts > Merge Contacts.
- To import contacts from another email account, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts > [Account Name] > Contacts.
Syncing Your Email Contacts List:
- By default, your iPhone will sync your email contacts list with your iCloud account.
- If you have multiple email accounts set up on your iPhone, you can choose which account to sync your contacts with by going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts > [Account Name] > Contacts.
- You can also sync your contacts with your Google account by going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts > [Account Name] > Contacts and toggling on "Sync Contacts".
Tips and Tricks:
- You can search for contacts by name, email address, or phone number by tapping the search icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
- You can also use Siri to search for contacts by saying "Hey Siri, find [contact name]".
- To quickly add a contact from an email message, tap the "Contact" button in the top-right corner of the message and select "Create New Contact".
