Gmail incoming mail server imap
To set up an incoming mail server using IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) in Gmail, you'll need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Enable IMAP in your Gmail account
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
- Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
- Click on the toggle button next to "Enable IMAP" to turn it on.
- Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.
Step 2: Find your IMAP server settings
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.

- Scroll down to the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
- Look for the "IMAP Access" section.
- Note down the following settings:

Step 3: Configure your email client or app

- Select "IMAP" as the account type.
- Enter the IMAP server settings you noted down earlier:
