Gmail server settings for mac mail
To set up Gmail with Mac Mail, you'll need to enter the following server settings:
Incoming Mail Server (IMAP)
- Host Name: imap.gmail.com
- Port: 993
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Username: Your full Gmail address (e.g., [yourname]@gmail.com)
- Password: Your Gmail password
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
- Host Name: smtp.gmail.com
- Port: 587
- Encryption: STARTTLS

Step-by-Step Instructions
- Open Mac Mail on your Mac.
- Click on "Mail" in the top menu bar and select "Preferences."
- Click on the "Accounts" tab.
- Click the "+" button at the bottom left corner of the window to create a new account.
- Select "Other Mail Account" and click "Continue."
- Enter your name, email address, and password.
- Click "Next."
