- Select "Mark as not spam" from the dropdown menu.
- Click on "Yes, mark as not spam" to confirm.
Method 2: Whitelist a domain
- Open your Gmail settings by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of the page.
- Click on "Filters and Blocked Addresses" from the dropdown menu.
- Click on "Create a new filter" at the top of the page.
- Enter the domain name (e.g., @example.com) in the "From" field.
- Click on "Create filter" at the bottom of the page.
- Select "Never send it to spam" from the dropdown menu.
- Click on "Create" to save the filter.
Method 3: Whitelist a sender's IP address
- Open your Gmail settings by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of the page.
- Click on "Filters and Blocked Addresses" from the dropdown menu.
- Click on "Create a new filter" at the top of the page.
- Enter the IP address (e.g., 192.0.2.1) in the "IP address" field.
- Click on "Create filter" at the bottom of the page.
- Select "Never send it to spam" from the dropdown menu.
- Click on "Create" to save the filter.
Tips:
- Make sure to whitelist only trusted senders to avoid compromising your email security.
- If you're using a business or organization email address, you may need to whitelist the domain or IP address through your organization's email administrator.
- Gmail's spam filter is designed to be highly effective, so it's possible that some legitimate emails may still get caught in the filter. If this happens, you can always mark the email as not spam using Method 1.
