1. Install a browser extension like Stylish (for Firefox) or Stylebot (for Chrome).
2. Once installed, click on the extension's icon in your browser toolbar.
3. Click on the "Write new style" button.
4. In the "Style name" field, enter a name for your style (e.g., "My Custom Gmail Style").
5. In the "Style code" field, enter your custom CSS styles.
6. Click "Save" to save your style.
7. Go back to your Gmail inbox and the changes should be applied.

Here are some examples of CSS styles you can use to customize your Gmail inbox:

• Change the background color: body { background-color: #f2f2f2; }
• Change the font family: body { font-family: Arial, sans-serif; }
• Change the font size: body { font-size: 14px; }
• Add a custom header: header { background-image: url('https://example.com/header.png'); }
• Change the color of links: a { color: #00698f; }

Remember to replace #f2f2f2 with your desired background color, Arial with your desired font family, and 14px with your desired font size.
