Horn rackspace webmail

A blast from the past!

Rackspace Webmail, also known as Horn, was a web-based email client provided by Rackspace, a managed cloud computing company. It was introduced in the early 2000s and was popular among Rackspace customers who needed a simple and easy-to-use email client.

Here are some key features of Horn/Rackspace Webmail:

  1. Web-based interface: Horn was a web-based email client, accessible from any device with a web browser.
  2. Simple and intuitive interface: The interface was designed to be easy to use, with a minimalistic design and a focus on simplicity.
  3. Email management: Users could manage their email accounts, including sending and receiving emails, creating folders, and setting up filters.
  4. Integration with Rackspace services: Horn was tightly integrated with other Rackspace services, such as Rackspace Cloud Servers and Rackspace Cloud Files.
  5. Security: Horn had robust security features, including SSL encryption and spam filtering.

In 2014, Rackspace announced that it would be discontinuing Horn and replacing it with a new email client, called Rackspace Email. The new client offered more advanced features and a more modern interface.

Although Horn is no longer supported, it remains a nostalgic reminder of the early days of cloud computing and web-based email clients.
