How do you request a read receipt in apple mail
To request a read receipt in Apple Mail, you can follow these steps:
- Compose a new email or reply to an existing one.
- Click on the "Options" button at the top of the email composition window.
- Check the box next to "Request a read receipt".
- You can also choose to request a delivery receipt by checking the box next to "Request a delivery receipt".
Alternatively, you can also request a read receipt by using the "Read Receipt" feature in the "Mail" preferences.
- Open the "Mail" preferences by clicking on "Mail" in the top menu bar and selecting "Preferences".
- Click on the "Composing" tab.
- Check the box next to "Request a read receipt".
- You can also choose to request a delivery receipt by checking the box next to "Request a delivery receipt".
Once you've requested a read receipt, the recipient will receive a notification when they open the email, and you'll be able to see when they read the email in the "Sent" folder.
