To request a read receipt in Apple Mail, you can follow these steps:

  1. Compose a new email or reply to an existing one.
  2. Click on the "Options" button at the top of the email composition window.
  3. Check the box next to "Request a read receipt".
  4. You can also choose to request a delivery receipt by checking the box next to "Request a delivery receipt".

Alternatively, you can also request a read receipt by using the "Read Receipt" feature in the "Mail" preferences.
