How to add a folder on ipad mail

To add a folder in the Mail app on your iPad, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap on the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  4. Tap on the "New Mailbox" button.
  5. Enter a name for your new folder in the "Name" field.
  6. Choose a location for your new folder by tapping on the "On" button next to "On My [Device Name]" or "On iCloud".
  7. Tap on the "Save" button.

Your new folder will now be created and will appear in the Mailboxes list.

To move emails into your new folder, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap on the folder you want to move emails into.
  4. Tap on the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  5. Select the emails you want to move by tapping on them.
  6. Tap on the "Move" button.
  7. Tap on the folder you created in step 7 above.
  8. Tap on the "Move" button again to confirm.

Your emails will now be moved into your new folder.

You can also create folders and move emails into them using the "Move to" feature. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the email you want to move.
  3. Tap on the "More" button (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner of the screen.
  4. Tap on "Move to".
  5. Tap on the folder you want to move the email into.
  6. Tap on the "Move" button to confirm.

Your email will now be moved into the folder you selected.
