How to add another gmail account to apple mail

To add another Gmail account to Apple Mail on your Mac or iOS device, follow these steps:

On a Mac:

1. Open Apple Mail on your Mac.
2. Click on "Mail" in the top menu bar and select "Preferences" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + comma).
3. Click on the "Accounts" tab.
4. Click the "+" button at the bottom left corner of the window.
5. Select "Other Mail Account" from the dropdown menu.
6. Enter your email address and password for the new Gmail account.
7. Click "Continue".
8. Select "IMAP" as the account type (this will allow you to access your emails on multiple devices).
9. Enter the following settings:
   • Host Name: imap.gmail.com
   • User Name: your Gmail address
   • Password: your Gmail password
   • Port: 993
10. Click "Sign In".
11. If prompted, enter the verification code sent to your phone or tablet.

1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
2. Tap on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".

8. Select "IMAP" as the account type.

Note: Make sure you have enabled IMAP access in your Gmail account settings. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Gmail account on a web browser.
2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select "See all settings".
3. Click on the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
4. Select the "Enable IMAP" checkbox.
5. Click "Save Changes".

After adding the new Gmail account to Apple Mail, you should be able to access your emails, contacts, and calendar events from both accounts in the same app.
