How to auto forward mail in outlook 2007
To auto-forward mail in Outlook 2007, you can follow these steps:
- Open Outlook 2007 and go to the "Tools" menu.
- Click on "Account Settings" and then select "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu.
- In the "Account Settings" window, select the email account you want to forward mail from and click on "Edit" at the bottom of the window.
- In the "Change E-mail Account" window, click on the "More Settings" button.
- In the "Internet E-mail Settings" window, click on the "Advanced" tab.
- In the "Advanced" tab, scroll down to the "Delivery" section and check the box next to "Leave a copy of messages on the server".
- Click on the "OK" button to close the "Internet E-mail Settings" window.
- In the "Change E-mail Account" window, click on the "OK" button to close the window.
- In the "Account Settings" window, click on the "New" button to create a new email account.
- In the "Add New E-mail Account" window, select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click on "Next".
- In the "Server Information" window, select "POP3" as the server type and enter the email address and password of the account you want to forward mail to.
- Click on the "Next" button to continue.
- In the "Account Options" window, select the "Leave a copy of messages on the server" option and click on the "Next" button.
- In the "Finish" window, click on the "Finish" button to complete the setup.
Once you have set up the auto-forwarding, any new emails sent to the original email address will be automatically forwarded to the new email address.
Note: Make sure that the email account you are forwarding from has sufficient storage space to hold the forwarded emails. Also, be aware that auto-forwarding may not work if the email account has a large number of emails or if the email account is set up to delete emails after a certain period of time.
