How to block mail in gmail account

Blocking mail in Gmail is a great way to reduce spam and unwanted emails. Here are the steps to block mail in Gmail:

Method 1: Block a specific email address

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Open the email from the sender you want to block.
  3. Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
  4. Select "Block [sender's email address]" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Confirm that you want to block the sender by clicking "Block" in the pop-up window.

Method 2: Block a sender's domain

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Open the email from the sender you want to block.
  3. Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
  4. Select "Report spam" from the dropdown menu.
