How to block mails from a sender in gmail
To block emails from a sender in Gmail, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Block sender using the "Report spam" button
- Open your Gmail inbox and find an email from the sender you want to block.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
- Select "Report spam" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm that you want to report the email as spam.
- Gmail will automatically block future emails from this sender.
Method 2: Block sender using the "Block" button
- Open your Gmail inbox and find an email from the sender you want to block.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
- Select "Block [sender's email address]" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm that you want to block the sender.
- Gmail will automatically move any future emails from this sender to the "Spam" folder.
Method 3: Block sender using the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" settings
- Log in to your Gmail account and click on the gear icon at the top right corner.
- Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
- Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
- Enter the sender's email address in the "From" field.
