How to block mails on gmail

There are several ways to block emails on Gmail:

Method 1: Block a specific email address

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  5. Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
  6. Enter the email address you want to block in the "From" field.
  7. Click on the "Create" button.
  8. Select "Block" as the action.
  9. Click on the "Create" button again.

Method 2: Block a sender's domain

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  5. Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
  6. Enter the domain you want to block (e.g. @example.com) in the "To" field.
  7. Click on the "Create" button.
  8. Select "Block" as the action.
  9. Click on the "Create" button again.

Method 3: Block a specific keyword or phrase

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.

Method 5: Use Gmail's built-in spam filters

Gmail has a built-in spam filter that can help block unwanted emails. To enable it:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.

  3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  5. Make sure the "Enable spam filtering" checkbox is selected.

Note: Gmail's spam filters are not foolproof, and some unwanted emails may still reach your inbox.
