How to change back to ordinary google mail

If you're using the Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) version of Gmail, you can switch back to the standard Google Mail (Gmail) by following these steps:

Method 1: Switch back to Gmail.com

  1. Sign in to your Google account on the Gmail.com website.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Accounts and Import" tab.
  5. Click on the "Google Apps" dropdown menu and select "No" to disable Google Workspace.
  6. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.

Method 2: Switch back to Gmail.com using the Google Workspace admin console

  1. Sign in to the Google Workspace admin console with your administrator account.
  2. Go to the "Users" tab and select the user you want to switch back to Gmail.com.
  3. Click on the "Settings" button next to the user's name.
  4. Scroll down to the "Account" section.
  5. Click on the "Google Apps" dropdown menu and select "No" to disable Google Workspace.
  6. Click "Save" to save the changes.

Note: If you're using a custom domain with Google Workspace, you'll need to set up a separate Gmail account or use the Google Workspace version of Gmail.

After switching back to Gmail.com, you'll no longer have access to the Google Workspace features, such as custom domains, group email addresses, and integration with other Google Workspace apps.
