To change the recovery email address in Gmail, follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Gmail Website
- Sign in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
- Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Accounts and Import" section.
- Click on "Change account settings" next to "Recovery email".
- Enter your new recovery email address and click "Save changes".
Method 2: Using the Gmail Mobile App
- Open the Gmail app on your mobile device.
- Tap on the profile picture or initial in the top right corner of the screen.
- Tap on "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
