How to change where my equity mail goes to

Equifax, one of the three major credit reporting agencies, allows you to change the address where your credit reports and other communications are sent. Here's how:

Online:

  1. Go to Equifax's website at www.equifax.com.
  2. Click on "Sign In" at the top right corner of the page.
  3. Enter your username and password to log in to your account.
  4. Click on "My Account" and then "Personal Information" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Scroll down to the "Address" section and click on "Edit".
  6. Enter your new address information and click "Save Changes".

By Phone:

  1. Call Equifax's customer service number at 1-800-685-1111.
  2. Ask to speak with a representative and let them know you want to change your address.
  3. Provide your current address and the new address where you want your communications sent.
  4. The representative will update your information and confirm the change.

By Mail:

  1. Write a letter to Equifax requesting a change of address.
  2. Include your current address, your new address, and your name as it appears on your credit report.
  3. Sign the letter and date it.
  4. Mail the letter to:

Equifax P.O. Box 740256 Atlanta, GA 30374-0256

Note: It may take up to 30 days for the change to take effect, so be patient and allow some time for the update to process.

Remember to also update your address with the other two major credit reporting agencies, Experian and TransUnion, if you want to ensure that your credit reports and communications are sent to your new address.
