How to check bcc on incoming mail in outlook
To check the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) recipients on an incoming email in Outlook, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Reading Pane
- Open Outlook and go to the Inbox folder.
- Select an email message that has a BCC recipient.
- Move your mouse cursor over the "To" field in the Reading Pane.
- A tooltip will appear, showing the BCC recipients. The BCC recipients will be listed as "Undisclosed recipients" or "Undisclosed recipients (
)".
Method 2: Using the Message Header
- Open Outlook and go to the Inbox folder.
- Select an email message that has a BCC recipient.
- Right-click on the email message and select "View Source" or press Ctrl + Shift + V.
- In the Message Header, look for the "Bcc" field. It will be listed as "Bcc:
, ,...".
Method 3: Using the Outlook Options
- Open Outlook and go to the File menu.
- Click on "Options" and then select "Mail" from the left-hand menu.
- Scroll down to the "Send and Receive" section.
- Click on the "Advanced" button.
- In the "Advanced Send and Receive" dialog box, check the box next to "Show Bcc recipients in the To field".
