How to clear particular mails in gmail

There are several ways to clear or delete specific emails in Gmail:

Method 1: Using the "Select all" checkbox

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Go to the Inbox or the specific folder containing the emails you want to clear.
  3. Check the box next to the first email in the list.
  4. Hold down the Shift key and click on the last email in the list to select all emails in between.
  5. Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page and select "Select all conversations" (or "Select all" if you're using the new Gmail interface).
  6. Click on the "Delete" button to delete the selected emails.

Method 2: Using the "Search" function

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Type a search query in the search bar at the top of the page to find the specific emails you want to clear.
  3. Use the following search operators to refine your search:
    • from: to search for emails from a specific sender
    • to: to search for emails sent to a specific recipient
    • subject: to search for emails with a specific subject
    • has: to search for emails containing specific keywords
  4. Click on the "Search" button to execute the search.
  5. Check the box next to each email in the search results to select them.
  6. Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page and select "Delete" to delete the selected emails.

Method 3: Using the "Filter" function

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page and select "See all settings."
  3. Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  4. Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
  5. Enter a search query in the "From" field to find the specific emails you want to clear.
  6. Click on the "Create filter" button.
  7. Select "Delete it" as the action to take for the filtered emails.
  8. Click on the "Create" button to apply the filter.

Method 4: Using the "Labels" feature

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Go to the Inbox or the specific folder containing the emails you want to clear.
  3. Click on the label icon (looks like a tag) next to each email to select it.
  4. Right-click on one of the selected emails and select "Apply label" > "Delete" to delete the selected emails.
