How to clear unread mails in gmail at one shot

There are a few ways to clear all unread emails in Gmail at once:

Method 1: Using the Gmail search bar

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the search bar at the top of the page.
  3. Type is:unread and press Enter.
  4. This will show you all unread emails in your inbox.
  5. Click on the "Select all conversations in this search" checkbox at the top left corner of the page.
  6. Click on the "Mark as read" button at the top of the page.

Method 2: Using the Gmail settings

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  5. Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
  6. In the "From" field, enter is:unread.
  7. Click on the "Create" button.
  8. In the "Apply the label" dropdown menu, select "Mark as read".
  9. Click on the "Create" button again.

Method 3: Using a keyboard shortcut

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Press the Shift + u keys on your keyboard.
  3. This will select all unread emails in your inbox.
  4. Press the R key on your keyboard to mark all selected emails as read.

Note: These methods will mark all unread emails as read, but they will not delete them. If you want to delete all unread emails, you can use the "Bulk actions" feature in Gmail.
