To configure Gmail to send emails from GrandNode, you'll need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Enable Less Secure Apps in Gmail
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Go to the Google Account settings page by clicking on the gear icon and selecting "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Signing in to Google" section.
- Click on "Less secure app settings".
- Toggle the switch to "Allow less secure apps: YES".
Step 2: Create an App Password in Gmail
- Go back to the Google Account settings page.
- Scroll down to the "Signing in to Google" section.
- Click on "App passwords".
- Select "Mail" as the app type.
- Select "Other (Custom name)" as the device type.
