How to create a group in windows live mail
A blast from the past! Windows Live Mail is an older email client, but I'll still help you with creating a group. Here's how:
Method 1: Create a new group from the "Contacts" folder
- Open Windows Live Mail and go to the "Contacts" folder.
- Click on the "New Contact Group" button in the toolbar or press Ctrl+Shift+G.
- Enter a name for your group in the "Group name" field.
- Click "Add" to add contacts to the group. You can select multiple contacts by holding the Ctrl key while clicking on their names.
- Click "OK" to save the group.
Method 2: Create a new group from the "Compose" window
- Open Windows Live Mail and click on the "Compose" button to start a new email.
- In the "To" field, click on the "Address Book" button.
- Select "New Contact Group" from the dropdown menu.
- Enter a name for your group in the "Group name" field.
- Click "Add" to add contacts to the group. You can select multiple contacts by holding the Ctrl key while clicking on their names.
- Click "OK" to save the group.
Method 3: Create a new group from the "Mail" window
- Open Windows Live Mail and go to the "Mail" window.
- Click on the "Tools" menu and select "Contact Groups".
- Click on the "New" button to create a new group.
- Enter a name for your group in the "Group name" field.
- Click "Add" to add contacts to the group. You can select multiple contacts by holding the Ctrl key while clicking on their names.
- Click "OK" to save the group.
Once you've created a group, you can easily send emails to all members of the group by selecting the group from the "To" field in the "Compose" window.
