How to create folder in gmail app and move mails

To create a folder in the Gmail app and move emails, follow these steps:

Create a folder:

  1. Open the Gmail app on your device.
  2. Tap the three horizontal lines (menu icon) on the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Tap "Settings" (gear icon).
  4. Scroll down to the "General" section.
  5. Tap "Create new label" (or "Create new folder" on older versions of the app).
  6. Enter a name for your folder (e.g., "Work" or "Personal").
  7. Tap "Create" to create the folder.

Move emails to a folder:

  1. Open the Gmail app and navigate to the inbox or a specific label (folder).
  2. Long-press on an email to select it.

  5. The email will be moved to the selected folder.
