How to delete all archived mail in gmail
To delete all archived emails in Gmail, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Gmail search operator
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the search bar at the top of the page.
- Type the following search query:
in:archive is:archived
- Press Enter to execute the search.
- This will show you all the archived emails in your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Select all" checkbox at the top of the page.
- Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu and select "Delete forever".
Method 2: Using the Gmail filters
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
- Select "See all settings".
- Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
- Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
- In the "From" field, enter
@gmail.com
(this will apply the filter to all emails in your account). - In the "Has the words" field, enter
