How to delete mails permanently in gmail app

To permanently delete emails in the Gmail app, follow these steps:

Method 1: Delete from the Inbox

  1. Open the Gmail app and navigate to your Inbox.
  2. Long-press on the email you want to delete.
  3. Tap the "Delete" button that appears.
  4. Confirm that you want to delete the email by tapping "Delete" again.

Method 2: Delete from the Trash

  1. Open the Gmail app and navigate to your Trash folder.
  2. Long-press on the email you want to delete.
  3. Tap the "Delete forever" button that appears.
  4. Confirm that you want to delete the email permanently by tapping "Delete forever" again.

Method 3: Delete multiple emails at once

  1. Open the Gmail app and navigate to your Inbox.
  2. Select multiple emails by tapping on each one while holding the "Shift" key.
  3. Tap the "Delete" button that appears.
