What happens when you delete a child's Gmail account?
When you delete a child's Gmail account, the following will happen:
- The account will be permanently deleted, and all associated data, including emails, contacts, and settings, will be lost.
- The account will no longer be accessible, and the child will no longer be able to sign in.
- Any Google services associated with the account, such as Google Drive, Google Photos, or Google Play, will also be deleted.
- If the child has any pending purchases or subscriptions, they will be cancelled.
Important notes:
- Before deleting the account, make sure to transfer any important data, such as emails or files, to a different account or storage service.
- If your child has any pending purchases or subscriptions, you may need to cancel them separately.
- Deleting a child's Gmail account will also delete any associated Google services, so be sure to review the account settings and cancel any services that you don't want to delete.
