How to enter batch mail in outlook contacts
To enter a batch of contacts in Outlook, you can use the "Import/Export" feature to import a CSV file or a vCard file (.vcf) containing the contact information. Here's how:
Method 1: Importing a CSV file
- Open Outlook and go to the "Contacts" folder.
- Click on the "File" menu and select "Open & Export" > "Import/Export".
- In the "Import/Export" window, select "Import from another program or file" and then click "Next".
- Select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)" as the file type and click "Next".
- Browse to the location of your CSV file and select it.
- Click "Next" and then "Finish" to start the import process.
- In the "Import Contacts" window, select the contact fields that match the columns in your CSV file. You can also map the columns to specific fields in Outlook.
- Click "Import" to import the contacts.
Method 2: Importing a vCard file (.vcf)
- Open Outlook and go to the "Contacts" folder.
- Click on the "File" menu and select "Open & Export" > "Import/Export".
- In the "Import/Export" window, select "Import from another program or file" and then click "Next".
- Select "vCard File (.vcf)" as the file type and click "Next".

- Click on the "Home" tab in the ribbon and click on the "New Contact" button.
- In the "New Contact" window, enter the contact information for the first contact.
- Click on the "Save & New" button to save the contact and open a new window for the next contact.
- Repeat step 3 and 4 for each contact you want to add.
- When you're finished adding contacts, click on the "File" menu and select "Save & Close" to close the "New Contact" window.
