How to import conatct mail to outlooks
There are a few ways to import contacts from another email client or file to Outlook:
Method 1: Import from CSV file
- Open Outlook and go to the "Contacts" folder.
- Click on "File" > "Open & Export" > "Import/Export".
- Select "Import from another program or file" and then "Comma Separated Values (CSV)".
- Choose the CSV file you want to import and select the delimiter (e.g. comma, semicolon, etc.).
- Click "Next" and then "Finish" to import the contacts.
Method 2: Import from vCard (.vcf) file
- Open Outlook and go to the "Contacts" folder.
- Click on "File" > "Open & Export" > "Import/Export".
- Select "Import from another program or file" and then "vCard (.vcf)".
- Choose the vCard file you want to import.
- Click "Next" and then "Finish" to import the contacts.
Method 3: Import from another email client (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, etc.)
- Open Outlook and go to the "Contacts" folder.
- Click on "File" > "Open & Export" > "Import/Export".
- Select "Import from another program or file" and then the email client you want to import from (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, etc.).
- Follow the prompts to sign in to your email account and select the contacts you want to import.
- Click "Next" and then "Finish" to import the contacts.
Method 4: Use a third-party add-in (e.g. ContactSync)
- Download and install a third-party add-in like ContactSync.
- Follow the add-in's instructions to import your contacts from another email client or file.
Tips:
- Make sure the CSV file is in the correct format (e.g. comma-separated values, with each field separated by a comma).
- If you're importing from another email client, make sure you have the correct login credentials and permissions to access your contacts.
- You can also use the "Import" feature in Outlook's "Contacts" folder to import contacts from other sources, such as a CSV file or a vCard file.
