How to link aadhar with mail id

Linking your Aadhaar with your email ID is a simple process that can be done online or offline. Here are the steps:

Online Method:

1. Visit the official website of UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) at uidai.gov.in.
2. Click on the "My Aadhaar" tab and then select "Update Email ID" from the drop-down menu.
3. Enter your Aadhaar number and password to log in to your account.
4. Click on the "Update Email ID" button.
5. Enter your new email ID and confirm it by re-entering it in the confirmation field.
6. Click on the "Submit" button to complete the process.

Offline Method:

1. Visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centre or a Permanent Enrolment Centre.
2. Carry the following documents:
   • Your Aadhaar card
   • A valid photo ID proof (such as a passport, driving license, or voter ID card)
   • A proof of address (such as a utility bill, bank statement, or lease agreement)

• You can link only one email ID with your Aadhaar card.
• The email ID you link with your Aadhaar card will be used for all future communications and updates.
• If you have already linked your email ID with your Aadhaar card, you cannot link another email ID.
