How to log out from mac mail

To log out of Mac Mail, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Log out from the Mail app

  1. Open the Mail app on your Mac.
  2. Click on the "Mail" menu at the top of the screen.
  3. Select "Preferences" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on the "Accounts" tab.
  5. Select the account you want to log out of from the list of accounts on the left side of the window.
  6. Click on the "Edit" button next to the account.
  7. Uncheck the box next to "Use this account" to log out of the account.

Method 2: Log out from the Mail account settings

  1. Click on the Apple menu at the top of the screen.
  2. Select "System Preferences" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on "Internet Accounts" (or "iCloud" if you're using iCloud).
  4. Select the account you want to log out of from the list of accounts on the left side of the window.
  5. Click on the "Edit" button next to the account.
  6. Uncheck the box next to "Use this account" to log out of the account.

Method 3: Log out from the Mail account using the menu bar

  1. Click on the Mail menu at the top of the screen.
  2. Select "Log Out" from the dropdown menu.

Note: If you're using a shared computer or want to log out of all accounts, you can also use the "Log Out" option from the Mail menu.

After logging out, you will be prompted to enter your account credentials again if you want to access your email account.
