How to log out from mail on mac

To log out of your email account on a Mac, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the Mail app

  1. Open the Mail app on your Mac.
  2. Click on the "Mail" menu at the top of the screen.
  3. Select "Preferences" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on the "Accounts" tab.
  5. Select your email account from the list of accounts on the left side of the window.
  6. Click on the "Edit" button next to your account.
  7. Click on the "Sign Out" button at the bottom of the window.

Method 2: Using the Apple Menu

  1. Click on the Apple menu at the top of the screen.
  2. Select "System Preferences" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on "Users & Groups".
  4. Select your user account from the list of accounts on the left side of the window.
  5. Click on the "Login Options" button.
  6. Click on the "Reset" button next to "Reset login items".
  7. Select your email account from the list of login items and click the "-" button to remove it.
