How to make dafault folder in gmail for perticular mail
In Gmail, you can't create a default folder for a specific email or set of emails. However, you can use labels to categorize and organize your emails. Here's how:
- Create a new label: Go to the email you want to label, click on the three dots at the top right corner, and select "Label" or use the keyboard shortcut "L".
- Create a new label: Enter the name of the label you want to create (e.g., "Work", "Personal", etc.).
- Apply the label: The label will be applied to the selected email. You can also apply multiple labels to an email.
- Create a shortcut: To create a shortcut to the label, click on the three dots next to the label name and select "Create shortcut". This will create a shortcut to the label in your Gmail sidebar.
- Move emails to the label: You can move emails to the label by selecting the email(s), clicking on the three dots, and selecting "Label" > "Apply label" > "Label name".
To make it easier to access your labels, you can also:
- Pin the label: Click on the three dots next to the label name and select "Pin" to pin the label to the top of your Gmail sidebar.
- Create a custom shortcut: You can create a custom shortcut to the label by clicking on the three dots next to the label name and selecting "Create shortcut". This will allow you to access the label with a single click.
While you can't create a default folder for a specific email, using labels and shortcuts can help you organize and quickly access your emails.
