How to recall mail in gmail after 30 seconds

In Gmail, when you send an email, it's automatically marked as "Sent" and removed from your inbox after 30 seconds. This is a default setting to help prevent accidental sending of emails. However, if you need to recall an email within those 30 seconds, you can use the "Undo Send" feature. Here's how:

Enable Undo Send:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "See all settings."
  3. Go to the "General" tab.
  4. Scroll down to the "Undo Send" section.
  5. Select the "Enable Undo Send" checkbox.
  6. Choose the time frame for which you want to be able to recall an email (e.g., 5, 10, 15, or 30 seconds).
  7. Click "Save Changes."

Recall an email within 30 seconds:

  1. After sending an email, you'll see a "Undo" link at the top of the page.
  2. Click on the "Undo" link within the specified time frame (e.g., 30 seconds).
  3. Gmail will recall the email, and it will be removed from the recipient's inbox.

Note that the "Undo Send" feature only works if the recipient has not yet opened the email. If the recipient has already opened the email, it's too late to recall it.

Also, keep in mind that the "Undo Send" feature is not foolproof, and there's always a risk that the email may still be delivered to the recipient's inbox, even if you try to recall it.
