How to recall mail in gmail in system emails

To recall an email in Gmail, you can use the "Undo Send" feature, which is available for system emails (also known as "sent" emails) that are less than 30 seconds old. Here's how:

Method 1: Using the "Undo Send" feature

  1. Go to your Gmail inbox and find the email you want to recall.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots next to the email and select "Undo" from the dropdown menu.
  3. If the email is still in the "Sent" folder and less than 30 seconds old, you'll see a confirmation message saying "Undo sent" and the email will be recalled.

Method 2: Using the "Undo Send" toggle

  1. Go to your Gmail settings by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
  2. Scroll down to the "General" tab and click on "Undo Send".
  3. Toggle the switch next to "Enable Undo Send" to the "On" position.
  4. Set the "Undo Send" window to 30 seconds or less.
  5. Go back to your inbox and find the email you want to recall.
  6. Click on the three vertical dots next to the email and select "Undo" from the dropdown menu.
  7. If the email is still in the "Sent" folder and less than 30 seconds old, you'll see a confirmation message saying "Undo sent" and the email will be recalled.

Note: The "Undo Send" feature only works for system emails that are less than 30 seconds old. If you've sent an email more than 30 seconds ago, you won't be able to recall it using this method.

Method 3: Using a third-party add-on

There are several third-party add-ons available that allow you to recall emails in Gmail, such as "Email Recall" or "Recall Email". These add-ons can be installed from the Chrome Web Store or other online marketplaces. However, please note that these add-ons may have limitations and may not work for all types of emails.
