How to recover trash mails from rediffmail trash
The frustration of accidentally deleting important emails!
Rediffmail allows you to recover deleted emails from the Trash folder for a limited period of time. Here's how to do it:
Method 1: Recover emails from Trash folder within 30 days
- Log in to your Rediffmail account.
- Click on the "Trash" folder in the left-hand menu.
- Look for the email you want to recover. You can use the search function or scroll through the list of deleted emails.
- Click on the email you want to recover.
- Click on the "Restore" button at the top of the email page.
- Confirm that you want to restore the email by clicking "OK" in the pop-up dialog box.
Method 2: Recover emails from Trash folder using the "Undelete" feature
- Log in to your Rediffmail account.
- Click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear) at the top-right corner of the page.
- Click on "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Email Settings" section.
- Click on the "Undelete" button.
- Select the email you want to recover from the list of deleted emails.
- Click "Restore" to recover the email.
Important notes:
- Rediffmail only keeps deleted emails in the Trash folder for 30 days. After that, they are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
- You can only recover emails from the Trash folder, not from the "Deleted" folder.
- If you've emptied the Trash folder or deleted emails from it, they cannot be recovered.
