How to remove account from windows 8 mail app

To remove an account from the Windows 8 Mail app, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Mail app: You can find the Mail app on your Start screen or in the Apps view.
  2. Click on the account you want to remove: In the Mail app, click on the account you want to remove from the list of accounts on the left side of the screen.
  3. Click on the "Settings" icon: Click on the gear icon () located at the top right corner of the screen.

  5. Click on "Remove": Click on the "Remove" button next to the account you want to remove.
