  2. Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner of the Outlook window.
  3. Select "View all Outlook settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the Outlook settings page, navigate to the "Mail" tab.
  5. Scroll down to the "Clutter and Focused Inbox" section.
  6. Toggle off the switch next to "Focused Inbox" to disable it.

Method 2: Disable Focused Inbox using Registry Editor

  1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
  3. Navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Focused Inbox
  4. Right-click on the "Focused Inbox" key and select "Delete" to remove it.
  5. Close the Registry Editor.

Method 3: Disable Focused Inbox using Group Policy Editor (for Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise only)

  1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type gpedit.msc and press Enter to open the Group Policy Editor.
  3. Navigate to the following policy: Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Microsoft Outlook 2016\Focused Inbox
  4. Double-click on the "Turn off Focused Inbox" policy and select "Enabled".
  5. Click "Apply" and then "OK" to save the changes.

After disabling Focused Inbox, you may need to restart Outlook for the changes to take effect. Note that disabling Focused Inbox will also disable Clutter, which is a feature that helps move low-priority emails to a separate folder. If you want to keep Clutter enabled, you can disable Focused Inbox using Method 1 or 2, but keep in mind that Clutter will still be active.
