How to seen in outlook mail read by receiver
In Outlook, you can see if an email has been read by the receiver in a few ways:
Method 1: Check the "Read Receipt"
When you send an email, you can request a read receipt from the recipient. This will send a notification to you when the email is opened. To request a read receipt:
- Compose a new email or reply to an existing one.
- Click on the "Options" tab in the ribbon.
- Click on "Request Read Receipt" in the "Tracking" group.
- Click "OK" to send the email.
Once the recipient opens the email, you'll receive a notification in your Outlook inbox with the subject "Read Receipt: [Email Subject]".
Method 2: Check the "Open" status
In the Outlook inbox, you can check the "Open" status of an email to see if it has been read. To do this:
- Open your Outlook inbox.
- Find the email you want to check.
- Look for the "Open" status indicator next to the email subject. If it's checked, it means the email has been read.
Method 3: Use the "Delivery Report"
Outlook also provides a delivery report that shows the status of an email, including whether it was read. To view the delivery report:
- Open your Outlook inbox.
- Find the email you want to check.
- Right-click on the email and select "View Delivery Report".
- The delivery report will show the status of the email, including whether it was read.
Method 4: Use a third-party add-in
There are also third-party add-ins available that can help you track email opens and reads. Some popular options include:
- Boomerang: A popular add-in that allows you to track email opens and sends reminders.
- Sanebox: An email management tool that provides features like email tracking and read receipts.
- HubSpot: A marketing and sales tool that includes email tracking and analytics.
Keep in mind that some of these methods may require the recipient to have Outlook or a compatible email client installed, and some may require the recipient to have a specific setting enabled to receive read receipts.
