How to sign out of mail app on mac

To sign out of the Mail app on a Mac, follow these steps:

1. Open the Mail app on your Mac.
2. Click on the "Mail" menu at the top of the screen.
3. Select "Preferences" from the dropdown menu.
4. Click on the "Accounts" tab.
5. Select the account you want to sign out of from the list of accounts on the left side of the window.
6. Click on the "Edit" button next to the account name.
7. Uncheck the box next to "Use this account" to sign out of the account.
8. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Alternatively, you can also sign out of the Mail app by going to the "Mail" menu and selecting "Sign Out" from the dropdown menu.

Note: If you are using a iCloud account, you will need to sign out of iCloud on your Mac as well to completely sign out of the Mail app. To do this, go to System Preferences > iCloud, select the account you want to sign out of, and click the "Sign Out" button.
