Icloud mail preferences

iCloud Mail preferences allow you to customize your email experience on your Apple devices. Here are some of the preferences you can adjust:

  1. Account Settings:
    • Add or remove email accounts: You can add or remove email accounts from your iCloud Mail settings.
    • Account name: You can change the name associated with your email account.
    • Email address: You can change your email address, but this will also change the address associated with your iCloud account.
  2. Notifications:
    • Notification preferences: You can choose which types of notifications you receive, such as new messages, replies, and forwards.
    • Notification sounds: You can choose custom notification sounds for different types of notifications.
  3. Mailboxes:
    • Create new mailboxes: You can create new mailboxes to organize your emails by category or project.
    • Move or delete mailboxes: You can move or delete existing mailboxes.
  4. Filters:
    • Create new filters: You can create filters to automatically sort, forward, or delete emails based on specific criteria.
    • Edit or delete filters: You can edit or delete existing filters.
  5. Signature:
    • Add a signature: You can add a signature to your emails, which will be appended to the bottom of each message.
    • Edit or delete signature: You can edit or delete your signature.
  6. Vacation Response:
    • Enable or disable vacation response: You can enable or disable the vacation response feature, which sends an automatic response to incoming emails.
    • Set vacation response: You can set a custom vacation response message.
  7. Junk Mail:

To access iCloud Mail preferences on your Apple device:

  1. Open the Mail app on your device.
  2. Tap the "Mail" menu icon (represented by a letter "M") in the top-left corner of the screen.
  3. Tap "Preferences" (or "Settings" on older devices).
  4. Scroll down to the "Accounts" section and tap "iCloud".
