Incoming mail pop3 server for outlook express

A blast from the past!

Outlook Express is an old email client that was popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s. If you're still using it, you'll need to know the POP3 (Post Office Protocol version 3) server settings to set up your email account.

Here are the general POP3 server settings for Outlook Express:

Incoming Mail Server (POP3):

• Server name: pop.[your_email_provider].com (replace [your_email_provider] with your actual email provider, e.g., pop.gmail.com for Gmail)
• Port: 110 (default)
• Username: Your full email address (e.g., [email protected])
• Password: Your email account password

Example:

• Server name: pop.gmail.com
• Port: 110
• Username: [email protected]
• Password: your_email_password

Note: Some email providers may require a different port number or authentication method. Check your email provider's documentation or contact their support team if you're unsure.

To set up your email account in Outlook Express, follow these steps:

1. Open Outlook Express and go to Tools > Accounts.
2. Click Add and select Mail.
3. Enter your name, email address, and password.
4. Select POP3 as the account type.
5. Enter the POP3 server settings (server name, port, username, and password) as mentioned above.
6. Click Next and then Finish to complete the setup.
