Ismaili dua part 2021

Here are some Ismaili du'as (prayers) that are commonly recited by Ismaili Muslims, along with their meanings and translations:

Morning Du'a

  1. "Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala ali Muhammadin" (O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad)
  2. "Wa barik wa sallim" (And bless and grant peace)
  3. "Wa 'ala 'ibadih al-salihin" (And on the righteous servants of His)
  4. "Wa 'ala khairin katheer" (And on abundant good)

Evening Du'a

  1. "Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala ali Muhammadin" (O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad)
  2. "Wa barik wa sallim" (And bless and grant peace)
  3. "Wa 'ala 'ibadih al-salihin" (And on the righteous servants of His)
  4. "Wa 'ala khairin katheer" (And on abundant good)
  5. "Wa 'ala qalbihi al-mu'minin" (And on the hearts of the believers)

Du'a for Forgiveness

  1. "Astaghfirullah wa atubu ilayh" (I seek forgiveness from Allah and repent to Him)
  2. "Wa 'alaika tawakkaltu wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah" (And I rely on You, and there is no power or strength except with Allah)

Du'a for Protection

  1. "Allahumma 'inna nas'aluka al-jannah wa mukafatuh" (O Allah, we ask You for Paradise and its reward)
  2. "Wa 'inna nas'aluka al-najata wa al-mu'afat" (And we ask You for deliverance and protection)
  3. "Wa 'inna nas'aluka al-'afiyata wa al-mu'amalat" (And we ask You for good health and good deeds)

Du'a for Guidance

  1. "Allahumma 'inna nas'aluka al-huda wa al-furqan" (O Allah, we ask You for guidance and discernment)
  2. "Wa 'inna nas'aluka al-'ilma wa al-'irfan" (And we ask You for knowledge and wisdom)
  3. "Wa 'inna nas'aluka al-tawfiq wa al-tahdhib" (And we ask You for success and guidance)

Du'a for the Imam

  1. "Allahumma salli 'ala al-Imam al-Mustafa" (O Allah, bless the Imam of the Mustafavi lineage)
  2. "Wa 'ala 'alihi wa ashabih" (And on his family and companions)
  3. "Wa 'ala 'ibadih al-mu'minin" (And on the righteous servants of His)
