Ismailiyah medano

Ismailiyah Medano is a Filipino politician who served as the Governor of Lanao del Sur from 2013 to 2016. He is a member of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) and was first elected as governor in 2013.

Medano was born on October 12, 1955, in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines in 1979.

Before entering politics, Medano worked as a businessman and a farmer. He was also involved in various community development projects, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare.

As governor, Medano focused on improving the province's infrastructure, particularly in the areas of road construction and electrification. He also implemented programs aimed at promoting agriculture and tourism in the province.

Medano's term as governor was marked by several challenges, including the ongoing conflict between government forces and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) in the province. Despite these challenges, he was able to implement several development projects and improve the province's economy.

After his term as governor, Medano returned to private life and continued to be involved in community development projects. He is currently the chairman of the Lanao del Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
