Here are the steps to set up your KU email account:

Step 1: Go to the KU Email Portal

• Open a web browser and navigate to https://email.ku.edu.
• Click on the "Log in" button and enter your KU email address and password.

Step 2: Download and Install Microsoft Outlook

• Click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear icon) in the top right corner of the email portal.
• Click on "Settings" and then select "Account Settings".
• Scroll down to the "Account Options" section and click on "Download Outlook".
• Follow the prompts to download and install Microsoft Outlook.

Step 3: Set Up Your KU Email Account in Outlook

• Once Outlook is installed, open it and click on "File" > "Add Account".
• Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
• Select "Microsoft Exchange" and click "Next".
• Enter the following information:
  • User Information:
    • Your Name: [Your Name]
    • Email Address: [Your KU Email Address]
    • Password: [Your KU Email Password]
  • Server Information:
    • Server: outlook.office365.com
    • Port: 443
    • Use SSL to connect: Checked
• Click "Next" and then "Finish".

Step 4: Configure Your KU Email Account

• Once your account is set up, you can configure your email settings as needed.
• You can do this by clicking on "File" > "Account Settings" and then selecting "Account Options".

• Make sure to use your KU email address and password to log in to Outlook.
