Lisa maillart pitty

Lisa Maillart-Pitty is a French-Australian former professional rugby union player. She was born on November 14, 1986, in Paris, France. Maillart-Pitty played as a flanker and was a key player for the Australian national team, the Wallaroos.

Maillart-Pitty began her rugby career in France, playing for the Racing 92 club in the Top 8 division. She later moved to Australia, where she played for the Sydney University Football Club and the New South Wales Waratahs in the Super W competition.

Maillart-Pitty made her debut for the Wallaroos in 2010 and went on to earn 34 caps for the team. She was a member of the Australian squad that won the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup, where she started in the final against England.

Maillart-Pitty was also a key player for the Australian team that finished third at the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup. She was named the Australian Women's Rugby Player of the Year in 2014 and 2017.

Maillart-Pitty retired from professional rugby in 2019, citing a desire to focus on her personal and professional life. She has since become involved in coaching and mentoring, working with young players and helping to develop the women's game in Australia.
