Step 2: Enable IMAP

Now that IMAP is enabled, you can set up live mail with Gmail:

• Open Live Mail and click on "File" > "Add account."
• Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next."
• Select "Internet Email" and click "Next."
• Enter the following settings:
  • Your name: Your name as you want it to appear in emails.
  • Email address: Your Gmail address.
  • Password: Your Gmail password.
  • Server: imap.gmail.com
  • Port: 993
  • Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA): unchecked
  • Use a secure connection (SSL): checked
• Click "Next" and then "Finish."

Step 4: Configure live mail

Once you've set up your account, you'll need to configure Live Mail to work with Gmail:

• Click on "Tools" > "Accounts" and select your Gmail account.
• Click on the "More Settings" button and select the "Outgoing Server" tab.
• Enter the following settings:
  • Outgoing mail server: smtp.gmail.com
  • Port: 587
  • Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA): unchecked
  • Use a secure connection (TLS): checked
• Click "OK" to save your changes.

That's it! You should now be able to use Live Mail with your Gmail account.
