Non profit mail rates

The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers discounted mail rates for non-profit organizations that are eligible to use Nonprofit USPS Marketing Mail (NPM) rates. To qualify, the organization must be a 501(c)(3) organization, a 501(c)(4) organization, or a 501(c)(6) organization.

Here are the current Nonprofit USPS Marketing Mail rates:

Letters

• 1 oz: $0.355 (regular rate: $0.55)
• 2 oz: $0.405 (regular rate: $0.65)
• 3 oz: $0.455 (regular rate: $0.75)
• 1 oz with permit: $0.245 (regular rate: $0.55)

Flats

• 1 oz: $0.245 (regular rate: $0.35)
• 2 oz: $0.295 (regular rate: $0.45)
• 3 oz: $0.345 (regular rate: $0.55)
• 1 oz with permit: $0.145 (regular rate: $0.35)

Cards

• 1 oz: $0.245 (regular rate: $0.35)
• 2 oz: $0.295 (regular rate: $0.45)
• 3 oz: $0.345 (regular rate: $0.55)
• 1 oz with permit: $0.145 (regular rate: $0.35)

Other Services

• Postcards: $0.245 (regular rate: $0.35)
• Booklets: $0.245 (regular rate: $0.35)
• Catalogs: $0.245 (regular rate: $0.35)

To qualify for Nonprofit USPS Marketing Mail rates, the organization must:

1. Be a 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), or 501(c)(6) organization.
2. Use a permit imprint (a special permit that allows the organization to print its permit number on the mailpiece).
3. Meet the USPS's eligibility requirements, which include demonstrating that the mailpiece is used for a non-profit purpose and that the organization is not using the mailpiece for commercial purposes.

It's important to note that Nonprofit USPS Marketing Mail rates are only available for mailpieces that are sent to addresses in the United States. International mail rates are not eligible for the nonprofit discount.
