Optus outlook mail settings

Here are the steps to set up Optus Outlook mail settings:

IMAP Settings:

• Server: outlook.office365.com
• Port: 993
• Encryption: SSL
• Username: Your Optus email address (e.g. [yourname]@optus.com.au)
• Password: Your Optus email password

SMTP Settings:

• Server: smtp.office365.com
• Port: 587
• Encryption: TLS
• Username: Your Optus email address (e.g. [yourname]@optus.com.au)
• Password: Your Optus email password

Additional Settings:

• Authentication: Use the same username and password as your IMAP settings
• Leave a copy of messages on the server: Yes
• Check for new messages every: [choose a frequency, e.g. every 15 minutes]

Outlook Configuration:

1. Open Outlook and go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings
2. Click on "New" to add a new email account
3. Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next"
4. Select "Internet Email" and click "Next"
5. Enter your name, email address, and password
6. Click "More Settings"
7. Go to the "Outgoing Server" tab and select "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
8. Select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"
9. Go to the "Advanced" tab and enter the IMAP and SMTP server settings above
10. Click "OK" to save the settings
11. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the setup

• Make sure your Optus email account is set up correctly and you can access it through the Optus website or mobile app.
