Outlook email junk mail settings
The eternal struggle against junk mail! Here's how to set up Outlook email junk mail settings to help you manage unwanted emails:
Outlook 2016 and later versions:
- Open Outlook and go to the "Home" tab.
- Click on the "Junk" button in the "Move" group.
- Select "Junk Email Options" from the dropdown menu.
- In the "Junk Email Options" window, you can adjust the following settings:
- Safe Senders: Add email addresses or domains to the list of trusted senders.
- Blocked Senders: Add email addresses or domains to the list of blocked senders.
- Quarantined Senders: Add email addresses or domains to the list of senders whose emails will be moved to the "Junk Email" folder.
- Mark as Junk: Choose how often you want Outlook to check for junk email (e.g., every 10 minutes, every hour, etc.).
- Click "OK" to save your changes.

- Open Outlook and go to the "Home" tab.

- Select "Junk Email Options" from the dropdown menu.

Additional tips:
- You can also use the "Junk" button to mark individual emails as junk. Right-click on the email and select "Junk" > "Mark as Junk".
- If you're using Outlook with Exchange Server, you may need to configure junk email settings on your Exchange server as well.
- Keep in mind that junk email filters are not foolproof, and some legitimate emails may be incorrectly flagged as junk. Regularly check your "Junk Email" folder to ensure that no important emails are being sent there.
