Outlook email tracking options

Outlook offers several email tracking options to help you stay on top of your emails and track their delivery and read status. Here are some of the most common email tracking options in Outlook:

  1. Read Receipts: You can request a read receipt from the recipient, which will send a notification to your email account when the recipient opens the email. To request a read receipt, go to the "Options" tab in the email composition window, click on "Request Read Receipt," and select "Yes."
  2. Delivery Receipts: You can request a delivery receipt, which will send a notification to your email account when the email is delivered to the recipient's mailbox. To request a delivery receipt, go to the "Options" tab in the email composition window, click on "Request Delivery Receipt," and select "Yes."
  3. Tracking: Outlook's built-in tracking feature allows you to track the delivery and read status of your emails. To enable tracking, go to the "File" menu, click on "Options," and then click on "Mail" in the left-hand menu. Under "Tracking," select the "Track emails" option.
  4. Third-party email tracking tools: There are many third-party email tracking tools available that offer more advanced tracking features, such as tracking opens, clicks, and conversions. Some popular options include Yesware, Streak, and Boomerang.
  5. Outlook add-ins: Outlook add-ins, such as Sanebox and SaneBlackHole, offer email tracking features that can help you track the delivery and read status of your emails.
